DRONE WORKSHOP

Drones are multi-functional vehicles which can perform a variety of missions such as aerial performances and deliveries, surveillance, and rescue. By leveraging on algorithms, multiple drones can be controlled autonomously.
Gain hands-on experience in programming a drone algorithm, and see it come to life through testing on real drones in this workshop.
KEY ACTIVITY DATES
Registration Closes

WHAT TO EXPECT
Virtual Pre-reading Materials
Participants can expect to brush up on their algorithm programming skillsets and get a broad understanding of how they are integrated onto drones through online pre-reading materials before the physical workshop.
Physical Workshop
During the half-day workshop, participants can expect to get hands-on training on how to program and optimise their algorithm for autonomous control of multiple drones on a virtual platform. Thereafter, participants will get to upload their algorithm on physical drones to see how well they perform in real time.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This workshop is designed for post-secondary to undergraduate students.
This activity requires a team of two to four people. Each team should have at least ONE SINGAPOREAN CITIZEN registrant to be eligible.
